Product Review: Boots No.7 Soft & Sheer Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

 

So many of us spent countless hours at the department stores, drug stores, spas and other make up counters looking for that perfect foundation/tinted moisturizer that will make our skin radiant, flawless, and as natural as possible. Just like you, we tried many, many different sheer, matte, full-coverage and other forms of this type of potion that promised to make our face less oily, more moisturized, less irritated and glowing. We cannot say that we have found a simple solution but after trying so many products, we think we can see the difference between a good vs. poor quality product. Today, we would like to draw your attention to Boots No7 Soft and Sheer Tinted Moisturizer - Fair (1.69 oz.). The claims for this product are that it enhances your natural beauty with its translucent, sheer wash of "barely there" color that evens our your skin tone and gives you a radiant, natural glow. It contains SPF 15 sunscreen to protect your skin from the aging effects of the sun and moisturizes for up to 12 hours. What else can we ask for? We find this tinted moisturizer delivers on its claims.

This product is a great find for those with normal to slightly oily or slightly dry skin. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly.  We would recommend this product for those with acne free complexion seeking some coverage for larger pores and more even skin tone. The tint provides very sheer coverage, which can be combined with a little bit of powder for a day look. The added powder will provide the matte look for those of us with slightly oily skin. If you use a concealer, do so after the tinted moisturizer is applied and before the powder, for oily skin. The SPF 15 is provided by Titanium Dioxide (1.9%) and Octinoxate (5%), which offer state of the art sun protection for our skin. All three shades are recommended.
